A new Gateway is coming to the Brick City. Redevelopment plans revealed by Onyx Equities LLC show the future of the commercial complex in Newark and establish it as the city’s hub of business and cultural activity.
Gateway’s exterior was redesigned to include approximately 10,000 square feet of street-facing retail space for the first time. Gateway’s concourse, lobbies and 5,000 square feet of converted retail space will also be reconfigured to be consistent with the expectations of today’s tenancy to include spaces of varying sizes to relax, or enjoy food and drink from local and international dining options. A sleek color palette, updated windows and modern textures will complete the look.
iDRAWPRO.com was hired to provide Shop Drawings for Stone and Tile installation on the project. Being part of other similar project at the time, we were happy to share our experience and expertise with the team at Gateway and to contribute to a successful completion of the project.
Onyx acquired three of the four Gateway Center buildings in 2018 as its entry into the Newark office market that continues to gain momentum attracting start-up and mature tech-oriented businesses.
